Take a look at these summaries to see a full list of the Top 50 Heavy Hitters and a summary of myCourses usage by College:

Each quarter at the end of Week 5, Online Learning collects statistics on the usage of myCourses across all delivery methods including online, blended, and campus courses.

The statistic we use takes all the interaction in myCourses and averages it by the number of people in the class. This includes messages posted in the online Discussion, public and private comments left in the Grade book, feedback left in the Dropbox, News announcements posted in the course, Calendar items posted in the course, and the number of Chat Rooms created in the course. Ranking high on this metric does not necessarily mean there is excellent teaching and learning going on in the course, but the Online Learning staff recognizes most of the names on this list as faculty we have worked with in online and blended learning and we believe the correlation between interaction and quality instruction is very high.

Below is a listing of previous quarter winners and the statistics that are tracked in this process for overall usage of myCourses.
