The Emerging Technology Partnership (ETP) is designed to explore and invest in faculty ideas related to new and emerging technology. Ideas for projects are weighed against current trends and research on new and emerging technologies for teaching and learning. Emerging Technology Partnerships are designed to be “partnerships” between faculty members and Online Learning where the primary aim is the sharing of knowledge about selected technologies.
Deadline: We are taking proposals for a summer/fall project. The deadline will be announced during spring quarter.
To submit a proposal, please use the ETP Request for Proposal
form.
Knowledge Studio is an Emerging Technology Project developed with Dr. Scott Hawker from the Software Engineering Department. The goal of Knowledge Studio was to create a taxonomy-based digital library designed to improve student use of the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge. Knowledge Studio is built on the open source DSpace digital library software. Professor Hawker and Online Learning are investigating the learning impacts of Knowledge Studio.
